Loosely operating as a production company, Kliber Films could more accurately be described as a rallying point for young filmmakers and creative talents in North Carolina. While at the outset it was little more than a group of starry-eyed high schoolers playing with DV cameras, it nevertheless served as a solid outlet for each to explore

the form, structure, and production of short films.

In the time since, our community has grown - both in experience and size - and undergone a unique maturation of style and technique. Although we are not yet at the top of our creative games, it is through the continued creation of opportunities and our unyielding camaraderie that we are able to refine our unique skillsets.

Presented on this site are three projects: 2008's Butterfly, an experimental narrative shot by a barebones crew over the course of

two weeks, 2011's Laugh, And Love Life, a short-form charitable documentary, and 2013's DRAG HIM OUT!, which boasted

a shooting crew of over 25 people, utilized several incredible locations, and was made possible by way of a successful IndieGoGo campaign that netted over $10,000.

Spanning these three projects, our growth as artists and filmmakers is evident. It is the purpose of this site then to celebrate
this progress, and, by doing so, open new doors for future works and exploration.
